Ebley Chapel

About Us
We are a small fellowship of Christian believers located in Ebley, Stroud, Gloucestershire. The members, who have come from a number of different denominational backgrounds our now serving our Lord in the area. Over the years Stroud has grown and we now have thousands of houses around the chapel in the Cashes Green, Cainscross and Ebley areas of the town. Our task as directed by our Lord in the closing verses of Matthew 28 is to take the gospel to the houses within these areas.

Our History
Ebley Chapel is a community centred evangelical church and is part of the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion which has 22 chapels spread around the UK and more than 30 chapels in Sierra Leone as well as some 20 schools. We are an independent charity but are still part of the Countess of Huntingdon Connexion.
We are led by our Elders with a leadership team of Deacons who are all appointed by the Church Members. All decisions concerning the Church are ratified by regular Church meetings, open to all members. Our Elders are responsible for the spiritual, doctrinal and pastoral oversight of the chapel whilst our Deacons are responsible for the administration and practical running of the building and finances.
